Combine the mix with one egg and one can of beer at room temperature. Opt for a mild beer rather than one with intense or fruity flavors. Alternatively, apple juice, ginger ale, or milk can be used in place of the beer.

Transfer the mixture into a greased baking dish. Optionally, drizzle 1/4 cup of melted butter over the mixture before placing it in an oven preheated to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
